Bloom Where You Are Planted

It's been a while since I have bloged, but I have been extremely busy with Christmas. This will be the best one yet. Otis is trying hard to be good for Santa Clause and Payton just has no idea. I am trying to get ready for my get together on Friday and to leave for Oma and Opa's on Saturday. Otis can't wait. He asks everyday if we are leaving today..... I'm glad I have a few more days. Of course the list of things I have to do is longer than the time I have left, but what's new? Hopefully my computer and my camera will get along long enough to put pictures on after Christmas. Until then, Merry Christmas to all and to all a Good Night.

Snow?!?

Snow?? in Texas?? It was 80 degrees yesterday and today, snow. Yes we are in Texas... And of course since we never have snow, Little Otis and I had to go out and play in it before it quit. But, that was an hour ago and it is still coming down. I love the weather in Texas. The news has been on since before 5am and is still going, announcing "Artic Blast" everytime they go to a commercial. You have to laugh.
Thanksgiving was a wonderful day of food and family. Nancy puts on a great meal and we all ate too much. Every day, little Otis asks if it's Christmas. I guess he's excited this year! It will be a big Christmas for him and we are just as excited and impatient for it to get here.
Little Otis is doing great in preschool and his teachers love him. He is learning to write and will be signing some of the Christmas cards this year. What a big boy. Well here he is in the snow.....

Haloween Celebration

We celebrated Halloween with friends and Trick-or-Treated with Shaunery and her kids in their neighborhood in Springtown. I haven't had that much fun since I was a kid. The small neighborhood allowed the kids to run from door to door screaming and yelling in the spirit of the holiday. We laughed and chased them all night. Even though it was cold, Payton went along in his stroller and almost made it around without being held. It warmed my heart to see the young ones having so much fun in a safe place and we made family memories that will last a lifetime. Thanks Shaunery for the invite. Otherwise, we are looking forward to Thanksgiving with Big Daddy and Nancy and playing all day!

Hello everyone. This seems to be the new thing to do so here goes..... The Blann family and friends will be able to keep up with the day to day activities of our family and hopefully get to see the boys grow instead of waiting on Christmas cards and a few pictures.... I will try to update it weekly, but with a 3 month old, you will probably have to be patient. So, as I figure this out, I will post pictures and news that is worthy or not of publishing....
Here is a picture of the boys that was taken in our yard. I will put an updated picture as soon as I get a good one.
